This Spectacular fountain pen made from an Ancient Kauri tree in New Zealand   Over 34,000 years ago, New Zealand had many forests of the Kauri tree.  Over time these trees sunk into the swamps in the area and stayed there - and stayed there until in the last century, some were found and in almost perfect condition.  Some of these trees have been resurrected and continue their lives in perhaps a different form.  The timber that this pen was made from has been carbon tested and is certified as being one of those trees that was living those 34,000 years ago.  If only these trees could talk and tell us of what has happened over that immense period.  Whilst this pen is not for sale, we can get other ancient kauri wood but it is doubtful whether it would have a similar beauty to this spectacular example - you can email us if you want us to try.  For more information about this tree, please go visit THIS WEBSITE
