This 13" (approx) platter is created from a piece of Spalted Beech that grew
on the estate of the Stately Home, Boughton House near Kettering. This
is the Northamptonshire home of the Duke of Buccleuch. The
picture depicts one of the packhorse bridges. There are cracks in this wood
but they form part of the pattern
